Use of the service
DocToMD provides online tools for converting documents, files, and public webpages into Markdown. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and convert any content you submit.
Acceptable use
You may not use DocToMD to process illegal content, infringe intellectual property rights, attack the service, bypass usage limits, upload malware, or submit content you are not authorized to process.
Free and paid access
Free users receive a limited number of daily conversions. Paid users can activate a license key for higher limits. We may adjust limits or introduce safeguards to protect availability, prevent abuse, and manage infrastructure costs.
Digital purchases and refunds
Paid access is delivered as a digital license. Because access can be used immediately after delivery, purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by law or for verified payment processing errors described in the Refund Policy.
Conversion results
Markdown output depends on the source file quality and format. Complex layouts, scanned documents, embedded objects, and damaged files may require manual cleanup or may not convert perfectly.
Availability
We aim to keep DocToMD available, but the service is provided without uptime guarantees. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service when needed.
